Hired as the first product leadership team member, I led the strategic build out of the design team to support an omni-channel footwear brand. Led the wholesale sales efforts with the VP of sales, and collaborated with our Chief Operating Officer to build and scale DTC product development strategies to test designs,  gather consumer data, to execute on quick to market manufacturing to enable the business for aggressive growth targets. 

Key Accomplishments

  • Transformed global sourcing, manufacturing and omni-channel merchandising that allowed predictable inventory buys for big box retailers like Nordstrom, while allowing custom small batch reactive manufacturing. 

  • Led a team of designers to manage the entire creative process from idea to market. 

  • Developed, in partnership with our technology team, a proprietary item management software and digital prototyping process that automated rendering and design processes. We were able to scale and automate our digital prototyping process to test and gather demand data to leverage manufacturing decisions for optimized overseas manufacturing. We were able to accomplish a 14-day design to in customers hand footwear solution.
